The Ledbury – The Ledbury opened in 2005, with Brett as Head Chef, supported by a young and energetic team including Sous Chef Greg Austin, Restaurant Manager, Darren McHugh and Head Sommelier, Anja Breit. The restaurant has gained many accolades including the much coveted second Michelin Star. Everything is amazing: the food, the service, the atmosphere. Thoroughly deserves its 2 stars.
Marianne Restaurant – A cosy, intimate restaurant, tucked away in a corner Mews in Notting Hill, serving carefully crafted seasonal ingredients, with the care and attention provided –as if you had your very own private chef back home. If you’re looking for a quiet place to relax and let time go by, this is the place to go for an evening out. Perfect and unique dining experience with some familiar feeling made by atmosphere.
Le Gavroche – It was opened in 1967 by Michel and Albert Roux although the original premises were at 61 Lower Sloane Street until 1981. Le Gavroche was the first UK restaurant to be awarded one, two and three Michelin stars. The chef de cuisine is Michel Roux Jr, who took over the reins from his father, Albert in 1991.
Excellent service and staff to diner ratio, beautiful surroundings and meal, and the service is discreet but attentive. Le Gavroche is listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as having served the most expensive meal per head when three diners spent $20,945 on one meal.
Restaurant Gordon Ramsay – Gordon has opened a string of successful restaurants across the globe, from Italy to the United States and holds seven Michelin stars. The group continues to grow with two ventures in Doha, Qatar opened in 2012; a total of three restaurants in Las Vegas with Gordon Ramsay Steak at Paris, GR Pub and Grill at Caesars Palace and GR BurGR at Planet Hollywood; and the latest now open Union Street Café in London’s borough market.
The Five Fields – Chef Patron Taylor Bonnyman, working in collaboration with Head Chef Marguerite Keogh and Pastry Chef Chris Underwood, offers elegant and playful modern British cooking with an emphasis on native British artisanal produce. Having worked in some of the finest kitchens in London, New York, Paris and Copenhagen the kitchen brings together its influences to create contemporary, seasonally focused, and ingredient led dishes. The food balances luxurious indulgence with delightfully fresh simplicity.
Linnea – Scandinavian restaurant with friendly and attentive staff with great knowledge of the food and wine. The food is presented beautifully with combinations that really work together. The food is excellently presented and will taste as good as it looks – real quality with depth of flavour and inventiveness without trying too hard.
Prawn on the Lawn – If you like seafood, then this is the place for you. Since there’s a fishmonger at the front of house every dish is served fresh and put together delicately. Outstanding food and extremely friendly, helpful service. Adorable, cozy, amazingly cute place in Islington.
Piccolo Olivo – restaurant is the result of the life long passion for good honest Italian food. Everything is cooked fresh – including our homemade bread – and brought to your table with a warmhearted smile. Large selection of the Italian classics to savour in the laid-back atmosphere. Lovely little restaurant.
